  At the Quest on Mount Hotel, we understand that our business and our activities have an impact on the environment in which we operate. We recognise that we need to look at the impact that our operations have on the environment and take steps to achieve sound environmental performance.

    We have set the following Responsible Tourism and Environmental aims and goals for ourselves:

  • Comply with all local environmental legislation.  
  • Continuously look for improvements in our environmental performance across our business and to measure our performance regularly. 
  • Make the most efficient use of our energy, water and other natural resources and promote conservation and savings wherever possible.  
  • Actively recycle recyclable waste such as glass, plastics and paper wherever possible. 
  •  Promote and adopt efficient disposal of non-recyclable waste in an environmentally acceptable manner. 
  •  Encourage environmental responsibility by our suppliers and contractors. 
  •  Wherever possible, in corporate energy efficient materials and technology when purchasing new equipment and upgrading existing facilities as well as aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 
  •  Inform guests by way of prompt cards in their rooms on top tips to protect the environment. 
  •  Minimise the use of paper in our offices and save everything to the computer and scanner. 
  •  Develop and adopt staff education programmes to give effect to the above. 
  •  Engage with our guests and customers as to how we can all make a contribution to a better environment.

      This policy statement sets the environmental policy of Quest on Mount, and we are responsible for maintaining compliance with the policy.

       OUR PROPERTY INFORMATION

     A copy of this policy is displayed in our housekeeping and reception office and public area, and is maintained on the Hotel’s website. It will also be used in the training of new staff as part of their induction.

Deposit / Payment Policy: Your reservation will be charged to your credit card prior to your arrival. Any incidental charges such as parking, phone calls, etc will be charged directly during your stay at the property. Should you prefer a different means of payment please advise in your reservation or communicate directly with the property prior to your arrival.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are eligible for a refund. There will be a $20 administration fee on all refunds. Fully refundable cancellations are accepted up to 12 hours prior to confirmed checkin time with no further penalty. Cancellations within 12 hour period not eligible for refund but may be used against future reservations. This includes changes to schedules. Limited Servicing available on rooms, weekends and public holidays.
